The AD-TEK 6U 800 Style Low Profile Vertical Enclosure is a versatile wall-mounted DIN rail electrical enclosure and 19 inch network/server cabinet, designed for installations where conventional full-depth rack cabinets take up too much space.
The enclosure can be configured with either 3 DIN rails for electrical, automation and control equipment or 2 x 6U adjustable 19 inch mounting rails for standard rack-mounted networking and server equipment.
With an adjustable internal working depth of up to 720mm, the cabinet can accommodate surprisingly deep equipment while its vertical mounting design keeps wall projection to just 345mm.
DIN Rail Electrical Enclosure
When configured for DIN rail equipment, the enclosure is supplied with 3 DIN rails, providing generous mounting capacity for electrical and electronic components.
The DIN rail configuration makes the enclosure suitable for power supplies, terminal blocks, relays, contactors, industrial Ethernet equipment, PLC components and other DIN rail mounted control equipment.
DIN rails can be selected with either a painted or galvanised finish, allowing the internal configuration to be chosen to suit the installation.
6U 19 Inch Vertical Network & Server Cabinet
Alternatively, the enclosure can be supplied with 2 x 6U adjustable 19 inch mounting rails for compatible rack-mounted equipment.
The 19 inch rails are adjustable, providing flexibility for different equipment depths and making the cabinet suitable for network switches, routers, patch panels, communications equipment, servers and other compatible 19 inch equipment.
Mounting deep rack equipment vertically provides an excellent solution where conventional cabinet depth or available floor space is restricted.
Secure Low Profile Wall Mount Design
Manufactured from 1.2mm steel, the cabinet provides a strong and secure enclosure for valuable electrical, networking and communications equipment.
The reversible lockable front door helps prevent unauthorised access, while ventilation in both the door and cabinet body assists airflow around installed equipment.
The combination of 720mm internal working depth and only 345mm overall wall projection makes the enclosure particularly useful for corridors, offices, plant rooms, communications rooms and other space-restricted locations.
Flexible Cable Access
Multiple cable-entry points provide flexible routing for electrical, network and control cabling.
A 1U cable-access opening in the top can be used for compatible 19 inch accessories or blanked when not required.
Additional cable access is provided through a rear knockout, 20mm and 25mm EKO knockouts in the base, plus two further base openings supplied with blanking panels.
Pre-punched cable-management tie anchors at the sides and rear help keep internal wiring and cabling neatly organised.
